Cryostatting of objects

The Company works out and produces capacitive equipment of different capacity and types. The equipment is used for storage, transporting and usage of liquefied gas at cryogenic temperatures.

Cryostats are used in industry, research institutes and universities, in biology, in medicine, and in agriculture.

In equipment production it is used such high technology materials as: aluminum alloys, corrosion-resistant steel, low heat-conducting and vacuum-tight composite materials (to produce vessel throats, rakers, brackets and bearings of inner vessels in shroud). During the process of production 100% control of vessel air-tightness is performed using mass-spectrometric method. To isolate inner vessels high-performance vacuum multilayer heat insulation is used with tested technology of mechanize assembly. Deep evacuation on special stands and using effective degasifiers in insulating cavities guarantee minimizing heat leakage, high operating characteristics and reliability.

The capacitive equipment which can be used for cryostatting of objects:

  • Biostorage – series of HB
  • The complete set of equipment for storage of blood and its components (Cryobank)
  • Dewar bottles cylindrical – series of SDC-40
  • Cryogenic bath - VK-15
  • Helium cryostat KG-30/60

The Company has created special cryostats for performing experiments connected with investigation of fundamental matter properties, with academic studies and many others. For example, unique cryostats were produced for needs of Baksan Neutrino Observatory.

Cryostatting of objects is performed not only due to capacitive equipment but due to cryogenic management systems, liquefiers and refrigerators compensating heat leakage on the given temperature level for tested objects.
