Storage and transporting of liquefied gases

The Company works out and produces different-type capacitive equipment with minimal capacity of 4 liters for storage, transporting and using liquefied gases. Vessels and cryostats are used in research institutes and universities, in biology, in medicine, in agriculture, in aeronautical and space engineering.

In equipment production it is used such high technology materials as: aluminum alloys, corrosion-resistant steel, low heat-conducting and vacuum-tight composite materials (to produce vessel throats, rakers, brackets and bearings of inner vessels in shroud). During the process of production 100% control of vessel air-tightness is performed using mass-spectrometric method. To isolate inner vessels high-performance vacuum multilayer heat insulation is used with tested technology of mechanize assembly. Deep evacuation on special stands and using effective degasifiers in insulating cavities guarantee minimizing heat leakage, high operating characteristics and reliability.

Dewar bottles industrial – series of SDP

Dewar bottles of SDP series are designed for long-term storage, transporting and using a big amount of liquid nitrogen, argon or oxygen.

They can be used in research laboratories, in medical offices and in industrial production.

Dewar bottles of SDP series are produced with throats of two diameters made of composite materials: 58 and 88 mm, with capacity of 6-35 liters.

Dewar bottles agricultural – series of SD и SDST

Agricultural Dewar bottles of SDS series are designed for storage and transporting of biomaterials at the temperature of liquid nitrogen. In general they are used in agriculture (in the technology of artificial insemination), in medicine and biology.

Small Dewar bottles SDS-6М and SDS-6-2 are designed for short-long storage of biomaterials at transporting. They are especially useful for hand carrying by one person.

Bottles of SDST series are more stable to inertial loading appeared during handling operations and transporting but at the same time they are characterized by higher evaporability. The throat diameter of the bottles СДСТ is 88 mm, which allows putting and transporting a big amount of biomaterials in them. The rest bottles are made with the inner diameter of throat 58 mm.

Bottles with litter “M” (SDS-6М; SDS-35М; SDST-35М) are characterized by lower evaporability and are designed for stationary storage or delicate transporting.

Each bottle can be packaged with the cans for placing of biomaterials. Cans are hanged on fiberglass plastic handles to decrease heat leakage and to reach maximal storage time at the temperature of liquid nitrogen. Bottles are packaged with several types of cans depending on bottle size and throat diameter.

Dewar bottles for liquid nitrogen – series of SD

Bottles SD with capacity of 100 - 250 liters are designed for storage and giving to the customer liquid nitrogen. Bottles are supplied with a built-in evaporator for rapid pressure increase and with reinforce block with the pipe branch for filling and giving the product, an indicator of liquid nitrogen level, manometer, valves, gas drop, protection valve, and pressure regulator.

Bottles are equipped with 4 swivel wheels including one wheel with break.

Bottles can be used in industry, research laboratories, and medical offices both for storage of liquid nitrogen and as feeding vessels for different equipment. In this case reinforce block can be completed with reinforce with electric drive, pressure and level sensors, which allows using the feeding vessel automatically.

Biostorage – series of HB

Biostorages of HB series with capacity of 300 and 600 liters are designed for long-term storage of biomaterials at the temperature of liquid nitrogen both in liquid and in its vapors. Biostorages can be used in medicine, biology and agriculture.

Biostorages are equipped with displays showing the information aboutliquid nitrogen level, its temperature, with system warning about reaching critical index.

According to the customer order biostorages can be equipped with the system of automatic maintenance of liquid nitrogen level from feeding vessels. In this case the system of automatic control maintains the level of liquid nitrogen and the temperature under the cover of biostorages for a long time without human interference; and in case of departure given values from allowable ones this system informs with tone and light signals.

Dewar bottles cylindrical – series of SDCP-40 (cryogenic bucket)

The bottle SDCP-40 is a cylindrical Dewar bottle with vacuum multilayer insulation. It is equipped with a detachable cap. Its capacity is 45 liters.

Although the vessel is open, heat leakage in a wide metal throat are great. That is why it is designed not for storage but for technological processes of cooling some constructive elements and junctions in liquid nitrogen, of prepackaging frozen biomaterials, and of short-term cryostatting objects. Performing similar operations in uninsulated vessels results in significant non-production losses of liquid nitrogen, in forming condensate and “layer of ice”, and in danger of cryogenic burn.

A wide-throat vessel is widely used in different areas.

Vessel for liquid carbon dioxide STU-1,0/1,25

The vessel with capacity of 1100 liters is designed for long-term storage of liquid carbon dioxide at бездренажном regime. The vessel is equipped with reinforce and level indicator, with coil condenser, which ensures re-condensation of carbon dioxide vapors, to connect freon refrigerating machine and to maintain working condition for a long time.

Being filled surface and water transportation are acceptable.

The vessel is a part of stationary fire-control system for rapid localization of fire centre.

Helium cryostat KG-30/60

Cryostat KG-30/60 is designed for cryostatting objects and devices with diameter not more than 55 mm at the temperature of liquid helium and for storage and transporting of liquid helium.

Cryostat is a vessel with capacity of 35 liters made of aluminum alloy, with a fiberglass plastic throat and effective screen-vacuum insulating system without nitrogen jacket. It is equipped with reinforce block, manometer, connecting branches for gas drop and for attachment of overflow equipment.

NPO “Geliymash” works out and produces cryostats of different capacity to perform works and experiments at helium temperatures. In due time cryostats for superconducting magnetic systems, ЯМР- tomographs, cryoturbo-generators, and photodetectors were produced.

Container for transporting, vertical RTV-1,8/0,25

Container for transporting, vertical RTV-1,8/0,25 is designed for storage, transporting and giving cryogenic liquid (nitrogen, oxygen, argon) to customers.

It can be used as a storage capacitor in air-separating plants and liquefiers as well as in stationary and transportable gasification systems. In these cases the container is equipped with drowned pump of liquefied gases.

Application area: in any industry where there is need in accumulation, storage and using liquefied nitrogen, oxygen, and argon.

Overflow equipment

Overflow equipment is produced in two types and is designed for continuous or periodical overflow of liquid nitrogen from Dewar bottles СДС-35, СДП-35/60 or СДП-16 with the throat diameter of 58 mm.

Pressing nitrogen occurs due to vessel overpressure that increases and stays at the same level using an original device.

Overflow equipment is fit up with evaporator, the valve for rapid increase of pressure in the vessel, metal hose with length of 1,5 meters, protection and gas drop valves, the valve for fluid supply and manometer.

Cryogenic bath - VK-15

During works with frozen biomaterial (sorting, transfer and preparing for artificial insemination) it is necessary to avoid its defrosting and to safe the lowest temperature. Taking into account small size of pipes with foundation stock and its mass, it is impossible to make these conditions in free air. That is why all manipulations are carried out in wide open containers with liquid nitrogen. As there are no special containers, it is often to use improvised means which are not suitable for cryogenic liquid. As a result condensate forms, vessels are covered with ice, nitrogen losses increase due to evaporation, and possibility of getting cryogenic burn of hands increases.

Cryogenic bath is made of stainless steel with vacuum insulation and with plastic rim that prevents the contact with low-temperature edges. Bath capacity is 15 liters.
